With more than 5 years of experience in GIS and developing and delivering training and exercises, Maxime D’Amours brings expertise in a wide array of fields:
- Planning, development, and delivery of small- and large-scale exercises linked to incident management
- Environmental sensitivity mapping
- Emergency response plans for linear infrastructure as well as identifying the optimal tactics for key locations
- GIS analysis, environmental research and impact analysis, development of sampling plans, and spatial statistical assessment
He is a specialist in the planning, development, and delivery of training and exercises in person and virtually. Maxime also has extensive experience in sensitivity mapping, GIS analysis, and field data planning and collection.
Maxime is fluently bilingual in French and English and based in Montreal, QC.
Representative
key projects
Maxime has completed sensitivity mapping and site-specific shoreline response plans for several West African countries. As part of this project, he also developed an innovative approach for automatically segmenting large portions of shoreline into smaller areas to capture their sensitivities.
Maxime has also been part of projects where Geographical Response Plans (GRPs) and Tactical Response Plans (TRPs) were developed for more than 15,000 km of rail and 5,000 km of pipelines throughout Canada and the USA.
Maxime has led the planning and development of multiple full-scale and numerous smaller exercises for linear energy transportation in the last five years.
